Wrong address, wrong hours, wrong price, wrong dish, factual error in copy. We correct quickly and log material changes on the affected page.

Issue 01's shortlist is closed at thirty while audits run. Send the name anyway — we log nominations for Issue 02 and may visit sooner if the room is clearly specialty and independent. Tell us what you'd order, not what the Instagram caption says.

We do not sell placement, sponsored listings, or "partnerships." We read owner messages about closures, rebrands, and menu changes. We will not confirm audit timing, confirm a rank, or accept a comp — cash goes on the counter if you insist.

We read every message that lands in [email protected]. We do not reply to every message — apologies in advance — but we triage:
Corrections are actioned within seven days, often the same day. Material changes (closure, ownership transition, menu overhaul that affects the verdict) are noted on the affected cafe's page.
Cafe suggestions get logged. Promising ones get scheduled into the visit calendar. If you suggested a cafe and we audited it, we won't always tell you — anonymity protects the audit — but you'll see it appear in a future issue if it earns the spot.
Owner inquiries are read but we'll always decline to confirm whether you're being audited. The audit is anonymous on purpose. If your menu has changed or you've moved, send the update; we will verify and re-publish.
What we won't do
Take down a negative review because you don't like it. Add a cafe in exchange for a free coffee or a Google review trade. Negotiate ranking position. Accept "thank you" gifts. Promise coverage in advance.
